Proactive Healthcare Needs Our Attention
Proactive healthcare, also known as preventative healthcare, focuses on measures taken to prevent diseases or injuries from occurring or progressing. It involves proactive steps to maintain and promote health, rather than just treating illnesses after they have already developed. From my research, I found that preventative healthcare can be beneficial in the following ways:Â
Early detection: Preventative healthcare emphasizes regular screenings and health check-ups, which can lead to the early detection of diseases or risk factors. Early detection allows for timely intervention and treatment, often leading to better health outcomes and reduced healthcare costs.

Reduced healthcare costs: Preventing diseases or catching them early can significantly reduce the financial burden on healthcare systems. Treating advanced diseases is often more expensive than implementing preventive measures.
